Kicking off with head of service, Dale Wild, updating staff on the business’s recent successes, commercial development manager, Brian Cape, then updated them on plans for the future followd by a tasting session with Cityserve’s development kitchen, CityKitchen, a Ready, Steady, Cook session and other workshops.

The event concluded with Eilis White - a development chef in Cityserve’s CityKitchen - presented the Employee of the Year award by Birmingham City Council’s cabinet member for value for money and efficiency, Majid Mahmood.

Wild said: “This is the third year we’ve held our autumn event and it was more popular than ever.

“We think it’s really important to get everyone together and celebrate their success. Everything we have achieved is only made possible by the dedication and enthusiasm of the catering supervisors who work tirelessly day in and day out to make Cityserve the best it can be.

“Thanks to everyone who attended. Here’s to another year making a difference at Cityserve!”
