AiP on the search for young chefs in 2015 competition
Alliance in Partnership (AiP) is once again on the lookout for creative young chefs for this year’s competition, which will be judged by celebrity chef Brian Turner.
Open to children over 11 years of age, entrants are to plan, prepare and present a nutritionally balanced main meal dish costing no more than £1.50 per head. AiP will support the school and students with planning and costings and will then select the finalist to represent the school.

The aim of the AiP Young Chef of the Year is to teach a valuable life skill and inspire creativity in the kitchen. Like real chefs, competitors must demonstrate an understanding of basic food hygiene, awareness of seasonal produce and availability of ingredients.
The grand final will take place in the professional kitchens at Worcestershire College of Technology on May 20th where the finalists will be invited to cook for Brian Turner, a regular on TV with Ready Steady Cook and more recently as guest presenter on Saturday Morning Kitchen and BBC TV’s ‘Taste of Britain’ series with Janet Street Porter.
AiP Group is an education caterer with an estimated 250 contracts and an annual turnover of approximately £21 million.
