LACA outlines programme for upcoming Autumn Seminar

The event will kick-off with Neil Porter welcoming attendees before sharing the aims of the day and providing an update on LACA. Michael Hales, who will be chair of LACA by the time of the event, will update attendees on LACA’s strategy as well as outlining key focuses for the coming year.
David Foad, group editor for School Caterer, will interview the 2025 School Chef of the Year winner Erin Ward about her experiences of the competition, the excitement of winning and her plans for the year ahead.
The Autumn Seminar will also feature a National School Meals Week update from Nigel Argyle, a session on supporting the school meals service and a political update from Olivia Harris (Menara Advisors).
The one day event will also highlight three case studies including Bryan Lygate on Impact Food Group’s rise, Susan Vuli from Shire Services on what makes an ‘exceptional award winning service’ and a third that is yet to be confirmed.
