Sacla gives school children an operatic lunchtime

26 Aug 2015

Children at Great Missenden School, Buckinghamshire, were given a lunchtime to remember by Sacla recently.

With the aim of bringing the spirit of Italy to a busy school dining hall, opera singers disguised as canteen staff broke out into song and performed a medley of classic Italian songs.

Managing director of Sacla’ UK, Clare Blampied, said: “We wanted to bring the spirit of Italy and our passion for Italian food to schools and give children an Italian dining experience to remember.

“The children’s reactions were priceless. This comes at a time when we are launching our new foodservice range, so it is a particularly special time of celebration.”
