SchoolGrid marathon run raises funds for Natasha Allergy Research Foundation

27 Aug 2024
SchoolGrid, who won the 2024 LACA Outstanding Supplier of the Year accolade and shortlisted finalist for the LACA & Natasha Allergy Research Foundation Allergy Management Award, has raised nearly £500 for the foundation.

On the 18th August 2024, the directors of LACA partner SchoolGrid put on their running shoes and completed a half marathon in Scotland to raise money for the charity. This is their second fundraiser for the foundation after they raised £300 for them at LACA Main Event through a social media competition.

As the first in market to deliver a school Online Allergy Protection System, SchoolGrid is keen to help support the foundation which aims to prevent and eradicate allergic disease, creating a world without allergy.

The foundation was set up by Nadim and Tanya Laperouse following the tragic death of their daughter Natasha. Their mission is to prevent and eradicate allergic disease, starting with food allergy, and to create a world that is safe for all individuals.

A spokesperson for the Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, said: “With your help we will make allergy history through medical research, changes to the law, and increasing awareness of this life-threatening disease. We are the only UK charity dedicated to allergy research.”
