SCOTY 2015: North East & Scotland regional final winner announced

Another place in the national final of LACA’s School Chef of the Year 2015, sponsored by Maggi from Nestlé Professional, has been settled following the North East & Scotland final at Doncaster College.
The winner will now go forward to the national final at the Food Services Wing of Worthy Down Defence Logistics School near Winchester, Hampshire on May 20th. Presentations will be made to winners that evening at the Norton Park Hotel in Winchester.
The overall winner of the Regional Final and the new LACA North East & Scotland School Chef of the Year 2015 is Abdul Mahdoul from Walbottle Campus Secondary School, Walbottle, Newcastle upon Tyne.
No highly commended awards were made.
