Our Food and Catering team hosts a team of specialists who have built and maintained successful relationships with catering staff and business managers within schools, academies, local government and wider public sector.

ESPO operate a Quality Assurance program for all food frameworks to ensure that standards are continually upheld. We have a dedicated Quality Assurance officer who conducts second party due diligence checks on all suppliers on our food frameworks – this is in addition to the standard third party accreditation required to secure a place on our frameworks. These checks, coupled with regular supplier review meetings, give you added peace of mind that we are monitoring procedures throughout the lifetime of the contract and are keeping check that our suppliers are adhering to the terms and conditions of the framework.

Over and above the standard regulations, we also ensure that our food suppliers offer market leading brands and a range of products to support all dietary requirements. They can also support customers with menu planning and product guidance with regards to Food for Life and all of them can provide electronic ordering and on-line product specifications.

Grocery, Frozen and Multi-temperature foods (83)
This is one of our most popular frameworks used by both education and corporate customers. Some of the many benefits of accessing this framework include a ‘One stop shop’ option for customers looking to consolidate their food deliveries, fixed price hold periods, price negotiations conducted on your behalf by ESPO, a high level of ‘behind the scenes’ contract management and, if your requirements are more specific, access to our further competition documentation.

Commercial Catering Equipment and Associated Services framework (98)
This framework offers customers a quick, simple and competitive route to purchase or hire a large range of Commercial Catering Equipment and Associated services. The framework is split into the following areas:

  • Turnkey Solutions – Kitchen Design layout combined with Supply and Install of the Kitchen and Commercial Catering Equipment (with an option to include Service and Maintenance)
  • Supply of Commercial Catering equipment to include prime cooking, refrigeration, ware washing, food preparation, waste, display and storage and transportation equipment.
  • Service and Maintenance of Commercial Catering Equipment.
  • Hire of Commercial Catering Equipment

Catering Services framework (704)
