Overview

Dunsters Farm is a third-generation, family-run, delivered foodservice. We deliver chilled and ambient food and drink throughout the North of England from Birmingham to Newcastle. We operate a fleet of multi-temperature vehicles from our 30,000 square foot purpose-built site.

We are not a big, corporate food service; we are 100% independent and pride ourselves on our customer-centric approach. We don’t have lots of shareholders expecting dividends, or a large costly management structure. As such we are able to deliver the best quality products and excellent service at a great price whilst at the same time treating our suppliers fairly. We listen to our customers’ needs and understand that we are crucial partners to the effective running of their operation. We offer every single customer a wrap-around package of support including a named account manager, a named customer care administrator, out-of-hours contacts and technical support.

Founded in 1963, we are proud of our heritage but are also passionate about ensuring that we are equipped to best serve our customers in the future. We have invested in some the latest technology to ensure the highest levels of customer service.

We are supporters of the Food for Life Served Here Scheme, the Soil Association and Red Tractor. We are committed to continually reducing our impact on the environment and in 2019 we were recognized as the Confex Green Wholesaler of the Year. We have always been based in Bury and are proud of our role within that community and have various initiatives to support communities in the North. In 2020, we are excited to have been invited to the launch of the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter and look forward to being founder members. We continually invest in the development and empowerment of our highly valued team
