Bake Off winner visits primary school

Jo Wheatley, winner of the BBC’s Great British Bake Off, visited Lordsgate Township Primary School yesterday for an interactive baking day.
Wheatley put on baking demonstration with pupils and held several sessions throughout the day with the school’s catering manager Sarah Levenson as part of her prize for winning Unilever’s Big School Bake Off 2016 in September.
Mellors Catering Services marketing manager, Helen Roughley, said: “This is a great acknowledgement to Sarah’s dedication and enthusiasm for the role and knowing how much she loves the children, she will be thrilled that they get to experience such a great event at their school and share in the enjoyment of the prize.”
Mellors Catering Services is the nominated contract caterer for the school.
