Unilever Food Solutions’ Big School Bake Off competition has opened for entries, with the announcement that this year’s final will take place at the LACA Main Event in July.

A total of 12 finalists, one from each LACA region, will compete at the LACA Main Event on July 6th, following a round of paper judging.

Sarah Levenson, 2016 Big School Bake Off champion and catering manager at Lordsgate Township CofE Primary School in Lancashire, said: “Winning Big School Bake Off has been an incredible experience. Not just for me, but for the whole school, in fact they haven’t stopped talking about it!”

All entries must include at least 50% fruit, which is in line with the School Food Standards in England. All school caterers who enter this year’s competition will receive their very own personalised embroidered apron.

If you think you have got what it takes to be crowned the 2017 Big School Bake Off champion, enter here by May 26th.
