Big School Bake Off finalist offers a hand at Doncaster Mansion House

Christine Parr, Big School Bake Off finalist and cook in charge at Warmsworth Primary School in Doncaster, joined the Doncaster Mansion House team last week. Parr assisted Doncaster Mansion’s banqueting manager, Andrea Swaby, with 153 afternoon teas at the venue. The Big School Bake Off finalist said she enjoyed the opportunity to work at the venue and commented on how different the experience was to cooking nearly 300 school meals in her normal role. Afternoon teas are held each month at the Mansion House and are a popular destination for people looking to celebrate special events.
