Bolton pupils win iPad2 from Viva Daily Win promotion

12 Jan 2012

LACA partner Pritchitts has given away an iPad2 to pupils from Harper Green School in Bolton as part of its Viva Daily Win promotion.

Every school day between June and December secondary students across the UK won an iPod shuffle and schools won £100 worth of sporting equipment by entering their Viva pack code at www.vivamilk.co.uk.

In honour of National School Meals Week, Harper Green picked up the star prize after pupils entered the highest number of Viva codes for the week.

Harper Green was presented with the iPad2 by Pritchitts' national sector development manager, Lisa Nurse who congratulated the pupils and the catering team on their achievements.

"I would like to congratulate the pupils of Harper Green School, their support and enthusiasm for Viva Daily Win made them very deserving winners.  National School Meals Week is an incredibly important initiative, and a key event in the education sector which is why Pritchitts wanted to get behind it and encourage children to drink more milk.

"Viva Daily Win is about rewarding children for choosing better meal options and supporting school caterers, such as Sharron, in their efforts to get more children to have healthy school meals."

School senior catering officer, Sharron Jacques added: "The catering team is delighted that Harper Green won, there was a lot of buzz after a student received an iPod Shuffle so it spurred the pupils on to try for the National School Meals Week prize.

"Viva Daily Win is a great promotion to encourage children to have more milk in their diets and we will definitely be getting involved again in 2012 – we're over the moon!"
