Brakes issues call to action over holiday hunger
08 May 2017
Brakes is urging industry leaders to build the movement to tackle holiday hunger by increasing engagement within schools and communities.
The catering distribution company is calling for letters to be written to local MPs, urging them to raise awareness and support the issue of child poverty and holiday hunger within their political party and constituency.
A selection of electronic signatures and social media assets have also been shared to post on social media and add to e-mail signatures.
Brakes also pledged an additional £500,000 worth of funding over the next five years for its Meals & More holiday hunger initiative at its forum held in the House of Commons in April.
