From planting over 24,000 trees, to rewarding our customers with over £2.5 million worth of cashback, offering great support in tough trading times. My thanks go out to the hard work of the team, and the invaluable feedback from customers on their needs.”

Brakes Scotland has championed locally sourced Scottish food and drink for over 30 years. Employing over 600 local people, Brakes Scotland partners with 78 Scottish suppliers and serves more than 8,000 customers, across the nation.

Kelsey Brannan, area sales manager, received the Rising Star of Wholesale Award. She commented: "I felt privileged to have even been nominated. Winning was a complete surprise. I can't thank my Brakes colleagues enough for their support over the years, I'm absolutely honoured and still on cloud nine."

Brakes Scotland was named as runner-up for both the Community Service and Great Place to Work Awards on the night.
