ParentPay Limited, a digital service provider of cashless payments for schools and parents, has acquired school catering solutions software/app, Cypad.

The deal, which was agreed on 29 December, will see the two businesses' products and services remain as distinct, stand-alone offerings.

Cypad, a school meals solution provider for caterers, local authorities and schools, will remain at its Bristol base following the change in ownership.

ParentPay says the agreement will allow it to extend its product offering with a “comprehensive meal ordering, meal management and kitchen management solution for primary schools, MATs, LAs and caterers.”
