Consultancy firm People 1st launches Apprenticeship system guide

People 1st, the consultancy firm for the hospitality industry, has launched a guide to help employers understand the new apprenticeship system following the introduction of the Apprenticeship Levy on April 6th, this year.
The free 20 page guide, titles Apprenticeships 101, contains advice, useful links and tips for employers who aren’t ready following the system change.
Annette Allmark, director of strategic policy at People 1st, said: “The new employer-driven apprenticeship levy present businesses with an opportunity to embed apprenticeships within their talent strategy and gain a return on investment - but it can be a steep learning curve.
“Putting a coherent apprenticeship strategy in place ensures that employers can maximise their apprenticeship levy investment. We’ve produced this guide to help businesses do just that, as well as giving them a detailed understanding of the mechanics of the new process.”
