Cucina awarded Vegetarian Society approved status for second year running
School caterer Cucina Restaurants has achieved the Vegetarian Society approved trademark for the second consecutive year.
Cucina’s director of Food, Sam Davies, said: “This award recognises our commitment to providing food of the very highest quality and we are delighted to be receiving it for a second consecutive year.
“Providing our customers with the widest possible range of daily options is a really important part of our quest to make school food the very best it can be.
“We consider our vegetarian choices to be a central part of our food offering, which is why we actively plan our vegetarian menus with all of our customers in mind, not just those who are vegetarians."
The caterer’s products and dishes are now all licensed to carry the trademark and gives assurance to students and staff that all vegetarian dishes served are free from animal fats and contain no GMOs.
