Ecological cleaning products company Delphis Eco, which supplies more than 1,000 schools and six UK universities, has been chosen by UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) as the only company to represent the ‘Green Pillar’ in the Government backed ‘Britain is GREAT’ campaign.

The privately owned British firm, which leads the ecological cleaning products market for the hospitality sector in the UK, is one of only 300 companies selected for this initiative to represent the best of British brands globally. Other brands chosen include Aston Martin, Virgin and Burberry).

As a result, Delphis Eco will be featured in billboard campaigns and showcased across all British embassies worldwide.

The company currently supplies its green cleaning products to every school kitchen in Hertfordshire, Surrey and Cambridgeshire.

It has also secured contracts with Manchester, Sheffiled Halam and Plymouth universities in England and Edinburgh, St Andrews and Aberdeen in Scotland.

Delphis Eco is the UK's first EU Ecolabel accredited manufacturer of cleaning products and in the seven years since it launched it has achieved a Royal Warrant and has won ‘Best Company’ by the European Commission.

Its commitment to sustainable cleaning products has seen it become the first chemical company to partner with Keep Britain Tidy and Eco-Schools, The Sustainable Restaurant Association, and the Green Tourism Business Scheme.
