Education caterers AiP secures New Year contract with Aylesbury school

Education catering contractors Alliance in Partnership has won a New Year contract at St. Joseph's Catholic Infant School, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

The one year rolling contract, worth £80,000 per annum, began at the start of the new school year and is now the third satellite school the hub kitchen prepares food for.

Pupils, staff and parents now receive healthy nutritious meals conforming to all Government guidelines on 14 nutritional standards.

St. Joseph's is a small satellite school with almost 200 pupils, aged 4-7 years, and has been receiving freshly prepared meals on a daily basis from AiP's hub kitchen at Mandeville High School for a couple of weeks now.

Managing director David Weller said: "This is one of three contracts we have begun 2011 with. Our company goals this year are set to gain a further 12-20 contracts."

Weller leads a 540 strong national team who focus on building mutual relationships with schools, working together to implement green initiatives, source local, environmentally friendly and assured produce and guarantee fixed costs.

AiP has grown by 70% over the past three years, gained the Food for Life Catering Mark at both Bronze and Silver level across 89 contracts and have a current turnover of £12 million.
