Essential Cuisine supports LACA’s ‘Marching Back to School’ campaign

Stocks and sauces supplier Essential Cuisine has announced their support for LACA’s ‘Marching Back to School’ campaign.
The campaign aims to encourage conversations between caterers, school representatives and parents to facilitate the return of hot lunches as soon as everyone feels like it is safe to do so.
The initiative is based on the well-known benefits to children’s attainment and development of eating a balanced diet and the belief that it’s of paramount importance to return to hot meals as soon as possible.
The Essential Cuisine chefs have been working on new ‘inspirational’ and well-balanced recipe ideas for caterers to try out this Spring and Summer. All the recipes have been approved by nutritionist and registered dietician Dr Sarah Schenker.
Essential Cuisine recipes include:
- Turkey, ham, leek and mushroom pie
- Vegan sausage casserole
- South Indian crab cakes
- Cheese and onion pasties
- Gluten free tuna pasta bake
