HC3S plans for VegPower’s ‘Eat Them To Defeat Them’ 2021 campaign
VegPower takes the unique approach of agreeing with children that vegetables are evil and taking over the world. The campaign encourages children the only way to beat them is to eat them in an attempt to increase vegetable consumption amongst young people.
The first session will be held on Tuesday 8 June 2021 at Barton Farm Academy, a small Hampshire school with a lot of space for social distancing. Participating schools will be invited to join HC3S virtually as they cook with the featured vegetable.
HC3S will update their website to feature weekly interactive quizzes around the featured vegetable for children to do at home.
VegPower’s ‘Eat Them To Defeat Them’ campaign was postponed in February and the new campaign will coincide with British Tomato Fortnight and Great British Pea Week.
