Jamie Oliver crowns 6 winners of 2025 Great School Food Awards

The six winners of the Good School Food Awards are presented with a Golden Spoon trophy as well as other prizes. The judges include Jamie Oliver, Mary Berry and Joe Wicks. LACA vice chair Brad Pearce was selected as an expert panel advisor alongside Henry Dimbleby and Stephenie Slater.
The six winners are:
- This Morning’s Lifetime Achievement Award: Colleen Green, Beacon Primary School, Walsall
- Food Educator: Sara Randle, Sir William Stanier Secondary School, Crewe
- The Sun’s School Chef Champion: Nathan Scarlett, Henry Cavendish Primary School, London
- Food Kindness Hero: Alex Moody, Park Community Secondary School, Havant
- Food For Fitness Award with Joe Wicks: Clare Robinson, St John the Baptist Primary School, Lincolnshire
- School Food Leader: The ASSETT Arrows, primary schools across Suffolk
After 55 years, Green has dedicated her life to Beacon Primary School. At the heart of all of it all has been her love for food, and her belief in its power to ‘transform’ lives. Chef Scarlett has ‘transformed’ the Henry Cavendish School’s food environment.
This year’s School Food Leader isn’t a headteacher or governor – it’s a group of ten and 11-year-olds who are doing 'incredible' things. Randle has taken her role of food teacher to the next level – not only sharing her much-needed brilliant skills with her students, but also with the wider community too.
At St John the Baptist Primary School headteacher Robinson has made sure good food and activity are at the heart of everything they do. Chef Moody and the team at Park Community Secondary are a ‘shining’ example of how powerful food can be in creating 'incredible' connections and bringing people together.
