Kerrymaid reveals insight ahead of National School Meals Week

17 Oct 2016

Kerrymaid has teamed up with children’s food campaigner, Jeanette Orrey to launch a new guide targeted at the education market.

The Kerrymaid education channel brochure includes allergy information, nutritional facts and advice on how to increase school meals uptake, alongside top tips and recipes from Kerrymaid’s chefs and Orrey.

Grace Keenan, Kerrymaid marketing manager for foodservice, said: “We have worked closely with Jeanette Orrey MBE to develop recipes that make catering to complicated children’s dietary requirements that much simpler, without having to create menus in isolation. Kerrymaid’s extensive product portfolio is dairy free, suitable for vegetarians and can also be consumed by those following gluten free diets.

“National School Meals Week is an incredibly important week in the school catering calendar as it highlights how we as a channel can improve the school meals of children across Britain. It also highlights what everyone can be doing better in the channel whilst giving praise to the school caterers who deserve appreciation for their efforts.”
