LACA announces speaker line-up for Main Event
Taking place over three days, the LACA Main Event includes a packed speaker programme, live demonstrations and free to attend interactive workshops. Speaker sessions are only open to LACA Forum delegates who have booked a delegate package.
Stephen Forster, national chair of LACA, will deliver the opening address and introduce attendees to this year’s Main Event.
This will be followed by a discussion involving each nations school meal service with Stephen Briggs (NI), Jacquie Blake (England), Judith Gregory (Wales) and Jayne Jones (Scotland).
On the second day Dr Andy Kemp MBE will give a talk on the lessons from the pandemic and how this has affected the education sector.
Dr. Donald Bundy, professor of epidemiology and development at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine joins the LACA Main Event to talk about the global importance of school meals, school health programmes and their role in building back from Covid-19 and school closures.
