LACA award winners enjoy trip to Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons
The winners of the Department for Education School Food Achievement Award (Primary and Secondary) at the 2015 LACA Awards were treated to a trip to Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, Oxford.
A group of children from Bolsover CofE Junior School and Kesteven & Grantham Girls School were given a tour of Le Manoir's kitchens, gardens and bedrooms as well as an inspiring talk from chef patron Raymond Blanc.
Raymond Blanc spoke about finding your passion and told the the award winners to, "be curious, be passionate and be ambitious."
Both schools picked up the Department for Education School Food Achievement Award for their school catering operation, which impressed judges for their consistent high standards.
