LACA Awards Dewberry Redpoint LACA Events Contract
Following a comprehensive and rigorous tendering exercise which involved four separate organisations pitching for the business, LACA has confirmed that its event portfolio contract has been retained by Dewberry Redpoint Limited.
The foundation of the contract is the Annual LACA Event (including Subscribing Members Meeting, Conference, Exhibition and Awards) that runs at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole every July together with the organisation, sales and operation of other events such as LACA's School Chef of the Year competition. The contract runs for three years with an option to extend for a further three years, starting with the organisation of the 2012 events.
Commenting on the decision by LACA to award the contract to Dewberry Redpoint Ltd, LACA Chair, Sandra Russell said: "We are delighted that Dewberry Redpoint has been successful in retaining the contract. It was a decision made by the LACA Board based on a detailed analysis of each of the organisation's tenders set against specific criteria. We would like to thank the other three organisations which took part for their work and presentations. We shall look forward to continuing the partnership with Dewberry Redpoint and to building on our historical programme of successful events"
