LACA celebrates Great British Roast Dinner during NSMW

School caterers up and down the country are celebrating National School Meals Week by hosting a Great British Roast Dinner day.
The Roast Dinner day aims to showcase the best local British produce, and LACA challenge you to create the best plant-based version as well.
Anita Brown, chair of the school food people LACA, commented: “Always a favourite with school caterers and pupils alike we know many of you will be serving a Roast Dinner. Whether a traditional roast or a plant-based alternative the meals are always lovely so let’s see some of your pictures.
“Tell us what makes your Roast Dinner special. Is it your use of local suppliers, freshly sourced vegetables, a popular dessert or do you actually decorate the dining room. Are you taking full advantage of all the resources on the NSMW website. They are free to download and use.”
