04 Dec 2025
Brad Pearce, chair of LACA, has been named as one of the ‘most influential’ by Public Sector Catering Magazine.

The Public Sector Catering 'most influential' list is an annual recognition of individuals who have made a significant impact on catering. It highlights leaders who drive improvements in nutrition, sustainability and workforce development.

Brad is the managing director of CATERed, a cooperative school meals provider in Plymouth, owned by over 60 schools and Plymouth council. He previously played a crucial role in the national School Food Plan, leading the small schools project across rural Devon and Cornwall.

He has been an active member of LACA since the early 1990s. Brad has served as regional chair for the South West Region, became a Board member in 2018, and served as national chair in 2022-2023.

All of those on the list have been invited to the House of Commons on 29th January when they will get the chance to air their views on key industry issues at a roundtable discussion.

Other industry figures making the ‘most influential list’ include Mo Baines, Professor Don Bundy, LACA ambassadors Nadim & Tanya Ednan-Laperouse, Sharon Hodgson MP, Jayne Jones and Alexia Robinson.
