LACA to host webinar & Christmas quiz
In the final LACA webinar for this year Anita Brown, national chair, will give an end of year round-up and look forward to 2024 with an update on plans for the year ahead. There will also be a political update and a review of National School Meals Week (NSMW), which celebrated its 30th anniversary this year.
The webinar will feature the latest news on the LACA School Chef of the Year (SCOTY) competition, which has once again been sponsored by Bisto from Premier Foods.
The competition is open to all kitchen-based staff involved in the daily preparation of pupils’ meals in schools across the UK whether from a local authority or contract-catered site, managed in-house, academy school or part of a Multi-Academy Trust.
