LACA has unveiled a selection of images from the recent awards night, which took place on Thursday 9th July at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
The LACA Awards for Excellence aim to celebrate individuals and teams who continue to make a ‘real difference’ to education catering and school food.
There were 12 awards handed out on the night with some of the winners being CATERed; Impact Food Group; Woodlands School, Sefton Council, Telford Langley Catering Team – Telford and Wrekin Council and Susan Vuli – Shire Services.
Judith Gregory, chair of LACA, said: “The LACA Awards for Excellence shine a spotlight on the remarkable efforts of individuals, teams, and organisations dedicated to transforming school catering. This year’s nominations truly raised the bar, showcasing innovation, passion and commitment.
"We extend our deepest appreciation to every nominee—your tireless work in delivering nutritious, high-quality meals to children across the nation is nothing short of inspiring. A huge congratulations to all of tonight’s winners.”
