Zoe Gill, development chef at Brakes, set up a Facebook group during lockdown to connect families and communities through delicious food. The Facebook page is a friendly, feel-good platform that enables people to connect with others through their love of food.

The Facebook page, which is open to schools, families and local communities, has over 1,100 foodie followers from households across the UK.

Upcoming events:

• Reducing food waste in April: Handy tips from the School’s Out! Big Cooks & Little Cooks founder Zoe Gill will post about the excellent use of kitchen leftovers, and how to make household food budgets stretch further.
• Community cake sale in May: Downloadable recipes, fundraising tips and information about the Meals & More charity funds will be supporting.
