Brad Pearce, chair of LACA, commented: “Good management, strong performances and high achievements deserve to be recognised and it is particularly important to not only reward but sustain motivation.”
Brad has selected Prostate Cancer UK as his chosen charity for the raffle that will take place at the LACA Awards for Excellence gala dinner on 6th July 2022. Bidfood, Wafflemeister, William White Meats and Nestle completed a 24 hour sports challenge to raise over £8,500 for the charity.
A spokesperson for Prostate Cancer UK said: “One in eight men will get prostate cancer. If you’re over 50, or you’re black, or your dad or brother had it, you’re at even higher risk. Prostate cancer is not always life-threatening. But when it is, the earlier you catch it the more likely it is to be cured.”
