LACA vice chair elect encourages caterers to enter Public Sector Catering Awards
The Public Sector Catering Awards, which aim to celebrate excellence across the sector, will take place on Thursday 24th April 2025 at the London Hilton Metropole.
The Education Caterer of the Year Award invites nominations from catering professionals, teams and organisations working in establishments within the education sector. The award aims to recognise excellence in the provision of foodservice for schools and academies in the state sector.
The nominee could work within a local authority, contract caterer, school or academy. Judges are looking for entries of 500 to 1,000 words and supporting evidence of:
- Menu development and operational innovation.
- Impact of any changes, for example meal uptake or increased revenue.
- The nominee’s impact on teams and/or pupils.
