LACA’s menu checking service gets underway

School catering organisations now have an easy way to check that their menus fully comply with School Food Standards with LACA’s own Menu Checking Service.
It allows organisations, academies, schools and caterers to demonstrate that their menus meet national best practice nutritional guidelines and demonstrates independently authenticated compliance.
The service provides a check of lunch menus against the School Food Standards, of January 2015.
Once approved, the menu may be endorsed with the Menu Checked LACA logo for as long as the menu is in use.
