Last chance to vote for the nation’s favourite school meal

It is the last chance to vote for the nation’s favourite school meal before the poll closes on Monday 24 September.
As part of National School Meal Week’s Silver Jubilee, LACA is conducting a survey to find the Nation’s Favourite School Meal from the past 25 years.
Entries have been whittled down to the last five
School Meal:
- Roast dinner
- Curry and rice
- Shepherd’s pie
- Spaghetti bolognaise/meatballs
- Fish and chips
Dessert:
- Chocolate sponge with custard
- Cheesecake
- Pineapple upside down cake
- Fruit crumble and custard
- Jam & coconut sponge and custard
Winners will be announced very soon and LACA will encourage caterers to add the winning dishes to menus during National School Meals Week as part of the celebrations.
