School chef Leanne Oliver-Pulford’s decorated novelty cake not only won that category, but was named overall winner of LACA’s Finishing Touches salon culinaire competition.

The Hampshire County Council Catering Services (H3CS) employee triumphed when judges led by Steve Munkley from the Craft Guild of Chefs looked over entries during LACA’s Main Event annual conference and exhibition from July 5-7.

Now in its 10th year, the competition is aimed at all levels of staff employed in any aspect of education catering capable of producing excellent craft pieces.
