Middleton Foods announces passing of chief executive Peter Hill
In a statement released on LinkedIn, a spokesperson said: “[He] will be sorely missed by his family, friends, and work colleagues. Peter was one of the original team that started Middleton Food Products back in the late 80’s and was instrumental in the growth and success of the business that we all enjoy today.
“A man who loved his work, Peter was famous in the catering and fish and chip industries, and we will all miss his outgoing personality, sense of humour, dedication and commitment. Our deepest condolences to his family and friends.”
Neil Porter, LACA business director and board member, added: “LACA were very sad to hear the news regarding the passing of Peter Hill chief executive and founder of Middleton Foods. Peter has always been a great support to the industry and LACA in particular.
“We have been so impressed in how Peter led Middleton Foods to the growth and size of the company it is today and the development of the products/service offer to meet the requirements of the industry and end users. We pass on our heartfelt sympathy to all his family, friends and colleagues.”
