MKN supports LACA Wales Recognition of Excellence Awards
The annual awards will be held on 26th October at Vale of Glamorgan Hotel, recognising the best of school catering talent across nine categories.
MKN manufactures cooking appliances including the FlexiCombi and SpaceCombi combi steamers as well as the FlexiChef multifunctional cooking appliance, all of which are driving gains in school kitchens across Wales and elsewhere in the UK.
MKN is also a long-term supporter of the LACA School Chef of the Year (SCOTY) competition and its public sector sales manager Stuart Brereton sits on the committee of LACA Wales.
Brereton said: “Our relationship with school caterers across Wales is strong and we’re pleased to be able to support LACA’s regional awards in this way.
“For a number of years we’ve working closely with local authorities in Wales to help make sure kitchens are equipped for universal free school meals and I’m looking forward to seeing the well-deserved recognition for some of the country’s best school catering teams on 26th October.”
