Ofsted outlines School Food Plan resources

07 Jan 2016

Ofsted has outlined a number of government approved resources in its school inspection update that are being used in schools to support pupils’ wellbeing and healthy eating.

In March 2015 it was announced that the school inspection body would include school food in its Common Inspection Framework from September 2015 for the first time.

The body details the School Food Plan’s ‘Work Works Well’ website as a resource for improving school food culture as well as a checklist for headteachers that highlights different ways they can bring about change.

The document is available to view here and the resources are detailed on pages nine and ten.
