Pasta King ‘Grab and Go’ Nutritious Meals Enable Social Distancing
Recognised as LACA’s (The School Food People) Outstanding Supplier of the Year 2018 within the education sector, Pasta King provides meal solutions comprising mostly pasta with made to order sauces. The meals, which satisfy government standards on salt, saturated fat and vegetable content, are served hot from pasta bars.
To support organisations and customers during the current pandemic Pasta King has expanded their core sauce and pasta range and introduced a new range of labour saving, easy to use products that will assist with social distancing.
The Pasta King team has also been altering case configurations where required and completing orders within extremely short timeframes to ensure children, young people and essential workers have access to nutritious food.
The Pasta King range includes:
- Pasta King core 3.5kg sauces, all supplied with a case of 3kg dried pasta or rice.
- Pasta King sauces 4x1.75g frozen range, smaller packs of our chilled range, frozen for convenience and supplied with 3kg of dried pasta or rice.
- Mixed pasta and sauce, 1kg or 3kg packs. Pre-mixed pasta and sauce in a convenient pack, simply heat and serve.
- Tip N Serve, a range of fully finished single portion or multi portion pasta and sauce dishes that can be oven heated and served directly from the tray.
- Café Meal Boxes, a range of individual frozen pasta or rice-based meals which can be reheated in a conventional oven or merrichef.
