Sam Gyimah named as Minister responsible for school food

Sam Gyimah, the Under Secretary of State at the Department for Education, has been named the Minister responsible for school food as part of the new Conservative-led government’s education plan.
Sam is the MP for East Surrey and was first elected in 2010 and is the minister for childcare and education. He has previously been the Minister for the Constitution, a Government Whip, and Parliamentary Private Secretary (PPS) to Prime Minister David Cameron.
Also, Robin Walker, MP for Worcester, has been made PPS to Secretary of State for Education, Nicky Morgan, who continues in her role.
