Bringing the challenges facing Scottish local authority catering providers into sharp focus on Friday, July 17th will be the head of ASSIST FM Jayne Jones in a webinar hosted by Public Sector Catering magazine in association with ASSIST FM.

The latest in our series of 'The Future of Your Service' webinars, it starts at 11am and will explore the likely impact of a planned expansion of free meals provision together with new food and drink standards in schools against a backdrop of the lessons learned from the Covid-19 lockdown.

As if that weren’t enough, ASSIST FM members have the added challenge that the new school year in Scotland starts on August 11th.

The webinar will begin with an interview with Jayne, after which she will be joined in a Q&A session by Gerry Donachie, vice chair of ASSIST FM and Facility Services Manager with South Lanarkshire Council; Chris Ross, catering operations manager with City of Edinburgh Council; and Lindsay Graham, Policy Adviser and member of the Poverty and Inequality Commission.

They will answer questions from participants, and the event kicks off at 11am.
