Warmsworth Primary School chef takes on afternoon tea

Christine Parr, Cook in Charge at Warmsworth Primary school, finalist in the recent Big School Bake Off joined Banqueting Manager Andrea Swaby at Doncaster Mansion House last week to assist with 153 afternoon teas.
Doncaster Mansion House is one of only 3 in the country, the others being in York and London. Afternoon teas are held each month at the Mansion House and are a popular destination for people looking to celebrate special events.
Christine thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity as it was very different to cooking nearly 300 primary school meals each day in her normal role.
