Members from throughout LACA’s Welsh Region gathered at the Vale Resort Hotel to pay tribute to the area’s stand-out performers at the annual award ceremony.

The Welsh Chairman’s Award went jointly to Kate Davies of Caerphilly CBC and Judith Gregory of Cardiff Council.

The Wendy Bradbury Primary School Frontline Employee of the Year was won by Debbie Lewis from Millbank Primary School, who works for Cardiff Council. Runners-up were Jane Vaughan – Ysgol Llanbrynmair Primary – Powys CC; Teresa Wilshaw – Ty Isaf Infants - Caerphilly CBC; and Kate Davies – St Gwladys Primary School – Caerphilly CBC.

The Welsh Catering Management Team of The Year went to Vale of Glamorgan County Council (Dining Centres). Runners-up were Bridgend County Borough Council, Powys County Council, and Vale of Glamorgan County Council.

The Welsh Frontline Catering Team of The Year was won by Brynte. Runners-up were Gwernyfed High School – Powys County Council; Millbank Primary – Cardiff County Council; and Ysgol Bryn Hafren – Vale of Glamorgan County Council.
