West Midlands Region training seminar 7 June
The event kicks off at 2pm with coffee and a chance to meet some of the Hillstone school food suppliers in an exhibition, with the seminar starting at 2.45pm when Jackie Foster, the regional chair, will welcome delegates.
On the programme visitors will learn about the catering operation at Hillstone, which holds a bronze Food For Life accreditation from the Soil Association.
Judith Gregory from Education Catering, Cardiff Council will make a presentation about the School Holiday Enrichment Programme (SHEP), the award-winning scheme to provide meals to needy children during school holidays.
And Michael Hales, LACA national vice chair and managing director of Juniper Ventures, will tell delegates about the creation of Juniper as a new catering and cleaning company serving the London Borough of Newham.
The day will finish with a barbecue, and anyone interested in attending is asked to return a booking form, attached below, by May 12th.
