YPO joins forces with Children’s Food Trust

12 Jan 2016

Public sector buying organisation YPO and charity The Children’s Food Trust have joined forces to raise awareness of how schools can save money on their bills for food and kitchen equipment.

Children's Food Trust CEO, Linda Cregan, said: "With budgets for schools and childcare providers under so much pressure, it's never been more important for them to get the very best value for ingredients, kitchen equipment and catering services.

"We're delighted to be working with YPO to spread the word about how it can help - because by getting best value, childcare providers and schools can keep good food affordable for families, support children in food poverty and continue building on the success of universal free meals for infants."

Darren Byford, food business manager from YPO, said: “Budgets are being stretched further, so we are delighted to be joining forces with the Children’s Food Trust to continue helping schools obtain the high quality, innovative products they need, while delivering long-term value for money.”

YPO is the newest member of the charity’s corporate membership scheme.
