Our company is unique, as it was set up BY CATERERS FOR CATERERS for the supply of quality fresh and prepared vegetables to the catering industry. The original concept was developed whilst the Managing Director was still working within the catering industry. At the time, it was extremely hard to purchase quality fresh and prepared produce from a company which adhered to all relevant EHO & Food Safety requirements, and was able to supply caterers with the quality and variety of products that were required.
Country Fresh Foods has now been established for over 28 years and in that time we have developed our company into one of the region’s leading suppliers of chilled produce covering all areas including, Fresh & Prepared Fruit & Vegetables, Morning Goods, Dairy, & Delicatessen.
The company was initially set up to fill a gap in the market for the manufacture & supply of ready prepared vegetables, and has held this principle close to its heart ever since. We are now the only food service supplier in the region that manufactures their own in-house prepared vegetables, thus we can guarantee both specification and quality are met at all times. By producing our own prepared products, we have full control over cost prices, and do not have any additional 3rd party costs
