John Palin (Wholesale) Ltd is a large independent supplier and distributor of fresh produce, including fruit, vegetables, salad, prepared produce, dairy, bakery and deli. Based in the East Midlands and covering a radius of approximately 150 miles from the depot including; Derbyshire, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Staffordshire and Cheshire. We are able to offer excellent levels of service to our client base ranging from semi-wholesalers, farm shops, independent retailers, caterers and restaurants to contracts with local authorities and educational establishments as well as the NHS.
Our depot at Tansley, in Derbyshire is a modern temperature-controlled facility, purpose built to store produce prior to distribution.
A fleet of modern vehicles are available to operate our 24-hour service. Produce is delivered in from our approved suppliers during the evening and delivered the next morning to ensure the freshest produce for all our customers.
We take delivery of fresh produce, directly from growers seven days a week. Using local growers where possible and also sourcing directly from suppliers abroad. This ensures we have a fresh and extensive range of produce to offer our customers.
Our HACCP system and Quality Manual ensure that every delivery made into our depot is quality checked by key personnel before unloading. Any problems can be taken up with the supplier at the earliest opportunity.

We employ our own delivery staff which ensures continuity and promptness of delivery.
Routes are reviewed daily to provide the most efficient service for our customers and reducing food miles. Vehicles are fitted with tracking facilities to help customer service.
We have excellent customer relations, maintained through our dedicated sales team and customer support, who are always on hand to deal with any queries arising.
