LACA and the FCSI UK & Ireland have got together to offer a secondary school in the UK an opportunity to get support in reviewing and implementing improvements to their catering operation and facilities. The support will include full consultation services from an experienced foodservice consultant that will cover:
- Marketing and maximising display
- Operations and efficiencies in better use of resources
- Customer Care training and “up selling” skills
- Decor & presentation of food service areas
- Food quality, nutrition and style to meet modern day customer expectations
The school that is chosen to receive the support will also get a number of gifts that will contribute towards the finished refurbishment. The overall package is worth at least £15,000
The selection of the school will be made by a panel of LACA and FCSI board members.
Who will get the support
LACA and the FCSI are looking for a school that intends to undergo a refurbishment of their catering facilities in the summer of 2017. Ideally the school will be facing a number of challenges that the consultant will be able to help to resolve. The chosen school must be prepared to share the outcomes of the consultation with other schools and LACA members through LACA media platforms and their annual events.
