Santa Maria asks ‘Are you good enough, chef?’ in online quiz

Foodservice company Santa Maria has devised an online quiz, ‘Are you good enough, chef?' to test chef’s knowledge on spice and herbs.
Eimear Owens, country sales manager for Santa Maria Foodservice, UK and Ireland, said: “Chefs put huge effort into careful sourcing of quality meat, fish and vegetables that have provenance. But so often, spices and herbs are an afterthought, with chefs taking the default standard product from their usual supplier.
“Our ‘Maria’s in Town’ campaign is all about showing chefs what they’re missing out on.”
The Maria’s in Town initiative will see the campaign truck travel across the UK, starting in Birmingham, to visit chefs and look at their dry story.
